Care to dance?

I believe that it is not coincidence that brings us together here on my website, but rather our shared trait – the desire to experience joy and make a unique connection like none other. The fact that, of all the pages at your fingertips, you chose to arrive at mine fills me with a sense of gratitude. And I thank you. So who am I, you may ask. Well, I come from a rural background, but moved to Philadelphia for college and fell in love with everything the City of Brotherly Love (and Sisterly Affection) had to offer – its history, its diverse art scene, its many hidden and unexpected treasures that never fail to surprise. Most of all, I appreciate Philadelphians’ honesty. They don’t pretend to be something they aren’t and aren’t inclined to put on airs – and neither do I. What you can expect from me is a partner who strives to be present in the moment and in tune with you, and open to experience the joys that our time spent together may bring. Dance has taught me invaluable lessons that I apply to every aspect of my life – discipline, focus, attentiveness to detail, fearlessness, self-confidence, and expressiveness. It’s also taught me passion, sensuality, and athleticism and flexibility, all of which you will be the direct beneficiary of during each and every one our encounters together. Another source of joy that I find essential in my life is in making lasting and true connections with people. In this pursuit, I am exceedingly particular about those with whom I choose to spend my precious time. I place a high premium on those who are honorable, empathetic, altruistic, and with whom I can share a good laugh. Nothing is more disarming – or sexy – than laughing together at the absurdities of life. Crucial to lasting connections is acceptance. I believe that all humans are worthy and deserving of total acceptance. Too often people are judgmental and critical of others’ flaws, preferences, and perceived inadequacies, as well as their own. I approach every relationship and encounter by trying to foster an atmosphere of ease and acceptance and no judgement. I also give myself the same grace. How more pleasurable and rewarding life would be if we could show more kindness, consideration, respect, and discretion to those around us and to ourselves. Someone once said that life is about the journey, not the destination. With that in mind, I remain always flexible (sometimes literally!) and open to whatever adventures life may bring. So let’s you and I seize the moment together, not think about tomorrow or yesterday, and appreciate, experience, and savor the here and now. I believe it could be an unforgettable journey and adventure. Now let’s dance!
